Extra Information

I am a PhD Candidate at the Economics department at the University of Maryland, College Park, and I am currently a Dissertation Scholar at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth.

I am a labor economist and am interested in studying issues related to economic inequality and economic opportunity. One strand of my research is motivated by the fact that the firms to which workers match has important implications for earnings and productivity. My research in this area uses methods from applied microeconomics to study topics related to macro-labor economics. A second strand of my research recognizes the importance of childhood experiences in determining long-run labor market outcomes. My research in this area uses economic theory and empirical analysis to study how economic forces shape the household and neighborhood environment.

I am on the job market this year and will be available for interviews at the European Job Market in December and the virtual ASSA meetings this January.
